Someone Forgot To Tell Us!

The above picture and caption is going semi-viral on Facebook. I thought I would share it, because a lot of my patients are asking me about the flu vaccine. They feel pressured by friends, family, and the media frenzy about the terrible flu this season.
It is my recollection that every year for the past five years, there has been a flood of media frenzy over “the worst flu season since_______.” Free vaccine shots are everywhere, and lots and lots of fear mongering is also everywhere.
All I’m saying is: keep yourself healthy using The Nine Essentials of Health that are right here in this blog, and make an informed choice. Read the CDC website, and also read the National Vaccine Information Center’s website: http://www.nvic.org/. You owe it to yourself and your family to slow down, take a breath, and stop believing everyone who tries to scare or guilt you into doing something you’re not sure about.
Just think about it.
